Terms of Service

1. Who we are

https://traderbots.site (the “Service”) is operated by TraderBots, [COMPANY NUMBER — fill in before launch], [REGISTERED ADDRESS — fill in before launch] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service is software for building, testing and running automated trading strategies. We provide tools; we do not provide investment advice, do not manage your money and do not take custody of your assets. Live trading is executed against third-party exchanges using credentials you supply. Please read our Risk Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You may not use the Service where doing so would breach the law of your jurisdiction, nor if you are subject to applicable sanctions. You are responsible for determining the legality of your use where you live.

4. Your account

  • Provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secret.
  • Tell us promptly at support@traderbots.site if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person or entity per account; do not share accounts.

5. Exchange API keys

You may connect third-party exchange accounts by supplying API credentials. You warrant that you are authorised to use them. We store them encrypted and use them only to operate the features you enable. We strongly recommend granting the minimum permissions required and never enabling withdrawal permissions. Your relationship with each exchange is governed by that exchange's own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

6. Plans, billing and refunds

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice; changes never apply to a period already paid for.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Consumers in the EU/UK may have a statutory right of withdrawal; where you ask us to start the service immediately, that right may end once the service has been fully provided.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law, or use the Service for market manipulation, wash trading or other abusive practices.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our infrastructure.
  • Interfere with, overload or circumvent limits, rate limiting or plan restrictions.
  • Reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted.
  • Publish to the marketplace any strategy or content you do not have the right to share, or make misleading performance claims.

8. Marketplace and user content

If you publish a bot or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Service. You remain responsible for what you publish, including the accuracy of any performance information. We may remove listings that breach these Terms. Subscribing to another user's strategy is at your own risk: we do not vet, endorse or guarantee third-party strategies.

9. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including its software, models, branding and documentation. You retain rights in your own configurations and content. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change is material and adverse, we will give reasonable notice. Beta or experimental features are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any strategy, signal or score will be accurate or profitable.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or the statutory rights of consumers.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of a third party's rights.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — fill in before launch], and disputes are subject to the courts of [JURISDICTION — fill in before launch]. Consumers may also have the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
