Do you take custody of my funds?
No. Live bots trade through your own exchange API key, which is encrypted at rest. We can't withdraw your funds, and a live bot with no key configured is refused rather than run.
Can I try it without risking money?
Yes — that's the default. Every bot starts in paper mode using live market data and a simulated balance, and the free plan stays on paper trading forever. There's also a full demo you can click through without signing up.
Is this financial advice?
No. TraderBots is software, not a broker or adviser. AI scores, signals and backtests are inputs for your own decision — trading carries a substantial risk of loss and past or simulated performance doesn't predict future results.
What stops a bot from blowing up my account?
Stop-loss and take-profit are placed as real reduce-only orders on the exchange, and every bot runs inside per-bot limits (position size, leverage, daily loss, drawdown) plus an account-level circuit breaker. A kill switch stops every bot and flattens live positions. These reduce risk — they can't eliminate it.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe the strategy in plain English and the AI builds the configuration, which you can refine in conversation. Simple mode hides the advanced tooling until you want it.
Which markets are supported?
Live execution on Hyperliquid, with data and paper trading on Binance futures, GMX and Polymarket. You can also drive a bot from your own TradingView alerts via webhook.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month and you can cancel from the billing portal in Settings; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
How do I know a strategy actually works?
Backtest it with real fees and slippage, grid-search the parameters, then walk-forward validate: we split the data in-sample/out-of-sample and flag overfitting or thin trade counts. Trust it only if it holds up out-of-sample.
